Taking a person-centered approach, I team up with a diverse range of people to uncover career interests, develop job goals, research labor market information, navigate small business resources, identify transferable skills, find education and training options, and uncover a sense of purpose. Collaborating with people to find their "flow" through work and play and living an outdoor/active lifestyle energize me. These activities have led me to working with college students, job seekers, sports enthusiasts, team members, and business partners. I offer know-how in resume creation, interview preparation, job seeking skills, networking, event programming, counseling, community outreach, and job development. I’ve worked in state government for seven years providing workforce development services to Minnesotans and businesses. Prior to working with the Department of Employment and Economic Development, I worked as a job placement provider for a non-profit, and as student affairs staff member in a university setting.
